Now with mad motorbike passenger skills!

This is a bit of strange post, but important all the same. My moto riding abilities have developed in the time that I've been here.

In my second week here (because I was too chicken during my first week) I distinctly remember sitting awkwardly on the bike, thinking I was issuing myself a death sentence, not daring to take my laptop and holding on for dear life.

Since then, my sense of balance has improved (no minor thing) and trust in the driver (definitely no minor thing). My laptop bag sits on one knee under my arm. My hand on my right knee for balance. My raincoat somewhere balled up in the mix. I don't need to hold on anymore because I understand how my centre of gravity kicks over to 'You're on a motorbike'. I'm no longer tense, hyper aware and waiting to hit something. Now, it mostly makes me sleepy.

I no longer get frustrated at my driver not knowing where to go, because here, it's my responsibility to have a map and be able to direct him 'Please go North on X major road towards Y major landmark and I will show you from there.'
