Anthropocene
I’m finally reading The Weathermakers by Tim Flannery: another chapter of clarity on why I need to finish my anthropology studies.Anthropocene The current geological period, wherein human activities have a powerful effect on the global environment.
One argument is that the Anthropocene kicked off 8,000 years ago with the Neolithic farming revolution. Essentially when homo sapiens first started contributing to climate change.
